Tobey Safety Training & Consulting

Safety training is not only ethical, but it can save the employer thousands of dollars.  Because of the increased inspections in the U.S. by OSHA, there have been more penalties and citations than ever before.  You and your employees can now be trained at a convenient location to keep your employees safe and help avoid costly injuries and fines.

Protect your company and your employees by providing safety training. General Industry and Construction OSHA Outreach training available.

"Rick's training brought not only safety procedures to my technicians, but helped them to earn CEU's for their certification.  The scheduling meant minor loss of productivity while providing me with documentation for CEU's and complying with OSHA standards." - Al Elliott, President, Professional Security Systems.

The 10 OSHA standards most frequently included in the agency's citations are:

'Employers are responsible' for providing a safe and healthful workplace for their employees.  OSHA's role is to assure the safety and health of America's workers by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, outreach and education; establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual improvement in work place safety and health.

We come to your site. TST has all instructional material for the training. Certificates and wallet cards issued for certain courses. We only require the employer provide the training area for hands on instruction and the equipment used in daily work. All task training requires classroom plus written testing and hands on demonstrations by the employee to prove proficiency in the task. Evaluations and all paperwork are given to the employer to file in the employees personnel files. This is quite important should an incident occur and OSHA or any other investigating authority needs proof of qualifications.
